SMC Phoenix May Meeting: Big and Snarky :-)

We had the biggest crowd ever at Social Media Phoenix tonight: almost fifty people to hear the Maricopa Partnership for the Arts present its crowdsourced web site idea for acquainting prospective Maricopa County residents with the wonders of greater Phoenix.

And there was another special guest: Buppy the Buppy, whose blog " The Personal Blog of Buppy the Puppy" is becoming a favorite in the canine blogging world.

Next month, the club will discuss mobile social media.

If you know of someone in the Phoenix area whose company specializes in mobile social media, do let @hardaway or @brianshaler know. Brian is going to be running the club this summer while I am in California. I expect to be streaming in :-)

And yes, I know the photos are sideways. I don't have iPhoto anymore since my hard drive crashed, and Image Capture seems to do something to them when I download them off the phone to make them upload to the web rotated wrong. C'est la vie:-)

It was an exciting group last night! I was impressed with how many showed up and how engaged everyone was in the conversation about *MPAC's evolving concepts for MeetGreaterPhoenix.
